Disability Confident Scheme

Launched in July 2016, the Disability Confident scheme replaces and builds upon the work of the Two Ticks Symbol scheme. The Disability Confident scheme aims to help organisations successfully employ and retain disabled people and those with health conditions.

Activate Learning is committed to supporting job applicants and staff with a disability or long term health condition and has signed-up to the following commitments:

  • Ensure our recruitment process is inclusive and accessible
  • Communicate and promote vacancies
  • Offer an interview to disabled people when the essential job criteria are met
  • Anticipate and provide reasonable adjustments as required for disabled people when applying for and doing their jobs
  • Support any existing employee who acquires a disability or long term health condition, enabling them to stay in work

We proudly display our Disability Confident: Committed logo on all recruitment advertisements.

Activate Learning - Policy Regarding Recruitment Agencies

Activate Learning is always transforming and generates a lot of interest, as a result we receive many calls from Employment Agencies and Recruitment Advertising Agencies. Although we do appreciate the interest you have shown in Activate Learning, we will always focus on resourcing high calibre candidates from the widest field possible, through our own advertising and recruitment campaigns.

Activate Learning requests that recruitment agencies do not forward CV’s speculatively or in relation to any of the roles advertised on our website.  Should we require recruitment agency involvement, we will contact the agencies on our preferred suppliers list, and we would ask that you respect the relationships we have already built with these suppliers.

If an agency submits an unsolicited CV to any partner or employee of our company, you should be aware that they have no authority to enter into an arrangement with you.  Our HR Team review all terms of business before entering into any agreement, and therefore we will not accept liability for commissions or other charges, if we subsequently employ that candidate, whether directly or through another agency. Where an agency’s correspondence contains a disclaimer indicating otherwise, our policy will prevail.

If you wish to be considered as a supplier to Activate Learning, please send an introductory email to our HR Team before submitting any CVs, thank you.
