Wellbeing at Activate Learning

At Activate Learning, wellbeing isn’t an add-on — it’s part of who we are and how we work together.

We believe that everyone deserves to feel healthy, supported, and valued. When people can bring their whole selves to work and feel safe doing so, that’s when truly outstanding things happen. That’s why wellbeing here isn’t a perk — it’s a promise we make to every person in our community.

Your voice is central to how we shape our wellbeing approach. Through open conversation and shared ideas, we co-create a people-centred wellbeing strategy that listens, learns, and evolves to meet the diverse needs of our community.

From your first day, you’ll have access to a network of Wellbeing Allies and Mental Health First Aiders, as well as your own personalised Wellbeing Action Plan — because everyone’s wellbeing journey is unique.

We’re proud to lead with inclusion, offering progressive support for menopause, carers, neurodivergent colleagues, and anyone navigating life’s real challenges. We recognise that wellbeing looks different for each of us, and we’re committed to creating space and flexibility for all.

Above all, we believe in the power of kindness, empathy, and respect.

Turning Insight into Action: Our 2025 Wellbeing Survey

In 2025, we launched our first-ever Wellbeing Survey to hear directly from our people. Hundreds of colleagues shared what’s working well and where we can do more. These insights are now shaping our Wellbeing Strategy — ensuring that our next steps reflect real voices, not assumptions.

  • 86% of respondents said they feel supported by our wellbeing offering.
  • 3 in 4 colleagues reported that our wellbeing campaigns have had a positive impact.

Top priorities for the year ahead:

  • A stronger focus on mental health and emotional wellbeing.
  • Raising awareness of the benefits available through our internal and external resources.
  • Delivering an accessible, engaging, and varied wellbeing calendar of events.

Turning Insight into Action
We’re proud that our survey is more than a tick-box exercise. Every piece of feedback helps shape what we do next — from strengthening our Wellbeing Allies network, to expanding mental health resources, to creating space for meaningful conversations that matter.

At Activate Learning, our wellbeing programme is designed with our people, not for them.

We actively listen to our colleagues through our wellbeing surveys and employee networks to co-create a programme that reflects what truly matters. Because our people help shape our wellbeing strategy, it’s authentic, relevant, and always evolving.

When you join us, you won’t just fit into our culture—you’ll help shape it.

Mental Health Awareness Week

Every year, we come together to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week, dedicating time and space to reflect, connect, and prioritise wellbeing.

This year, 2025, the focus is on Community,  the week highlighted the power of connection and collective support. Across all our campuses, we hosted a vibrant schedule of activities designed to inspire mindfulness, kindness, and creativity. From guided mindfulness sessions and kindness challenges to art and craft workshops and interactive wellbeing discussions, colleagues joined together to share experiences, learn practical tools, and strengthen our supportive culture.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Participants appreciated having the opportunity to slow down, reflect, and connect with others in meaningful ways. Many shared how valuable it was to have a dedicated space to focus on mental health — not just individually, but as part of a caring community.

We’re proud of how our community continues to make mental health a shared priority — supporting one another, fostering inclusion, and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.
