The Activate Learning Corporation Board is comprised of highly-skilled and experienced governors from a wide range of professional and personal backgrounds.

Our governors show exceptional commitment to Activate Learning’s vision to transform lives through learning and devote significant time and experience to providing strategic oversight and governance to the group’s senior leadership team.

We are currently seeking governors with skills and/or strategic leadership experience in:

  • Digital, Technology and Cyber
  • Further Education
  • Commercial and Engineering
  • Neurodiversity
  • Estates and premises
  • Audit and risk management

You will work alongside highly-talented and experienced individuals to provide strategic leadership to a well-respected organisation, which makes a tangible difference to thousands of people every year.

Knowledge

The Corporation Board operates a Carver model of governance. Therefore, the ability to understand a large and complex business and operate at a highly-strategic level is essential.

Passion

We are seeking high-calibre individuals that can demonstrate a personal commitment to our vision and values, as well as experience of senior and strategic leadership in relevant fields and sectors.

  • A covering letter (maximum two sides) highlighting your suitability for the role and how you meet the person specification.*
  • Details of two professional referees together with a brief statement of their relationship to you and over what period they have known you.**
