How can I keep up to date on your vacancies?

Do I need a teaching qualification to apply for a teaching job with you?

We want our learners to have an outstanding learning experience and so our aspiration is that all our teachers have a teaching qualification. For some of our teaching roles, we would expect the successful candidate to have a teaching qualification.

However, we want our learners to benefit from the expertise of industry professionals who have expert technical knowledge and skills. If you would like the chance to make a difference and pass on your skills and experience to young people with the potential to become an inspirational teacher, we can help you achieve a teaching qualification, in the flow of work. Can I serve as a reservist while working at Activate Learning?

Yes absolutely. We recognise the valuable contribution that reservists, Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAV) and veterans make to the organisation and our learners.

Can I apply for a full-time role as part-time?

Application

Do I need to complete the full application form?

Yes. We require a fully completed application form for every role that you apply for. As an education provider, we need to ensure that we adhere to the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education

I’m having technical problems accessing my application form

You should contact the talent team by email at recruitment@activatelearning.ac.uk . Please make a note of any error messages that you are receiving when you contact us.

I am interested in several jobs, can I complete one application form for various jobs?

You will need to complete a separate application form for each role that you apply for. Each job has a unique reference number with different hiring managers, along with a job description and person specification criteria specific to that role.

It is crucial that you complete each application form to evidence how your skills and knowledge meet the criteria as per the job description and make you a suitable candidate for the role.

Can I send a CV instead of completing an application form?

No, we cannot accept a CV without a completed application form. In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, all candidates must complete the application form in full.

Is there parking at the college for my interview?

Parking is available at each of our Activate Learning campuses. We would encourage you to reach out to the hiring manager to confirm visitor parking if required to secure a space.
