Teaching at Activate Learning

Activate Learning supports teachers, whether experienced or new to teaching, offering an extensive range of resources, development, support and guidance to tailor your professional development journey every step of the way.

Learning is integrated in all that we do from the moment you join us, and we are committed to fostering the growth and development of our teaching staff. From the outset, we want you to feel like you belong here! We have created an induction programme that will encourage you to learn about our organisation and feel connected to our mission, values and Learning Philosophy led culture. We want to give you the best start so that you thrive in your new role and contribute to providing our learners with the best learning experience.

All new teachers participate in our comprehensive one-day ‘Introduction to Teaching at Activate Learning’ which outlines our specific approaches to teaching, learning and assessment, and provides the opportunity to connect with other new teachers. Additionally, we encourage teaching colleagues without prior teaching qualifications to complete our 12-week ‘Introduction to Teaching, Learning, and Assessment ‘ program.

We also offer a range of teaching skills workshops and resources that focus on specific areas of teaching and learning, together with a comprehensive Learning and Development program.
