  • Performance oversight: PSL is reviewed annually , typically between January and March, to ensure it remains aligned with our needs. Review timings are indicative and not guaranteed.

We are not currently reviewing our Preferred Supplier List (PSL) or accepting requests for inclusion. Please check this page for future PSL openings and updates. We ask agencies not to contact our Talent Acquisition Team regarding PSL applications. Only successful applicants will be contacted if applications reopen.

By joining our Preferred Supplier List (PSL), your agency gains access to opportunities and becomes an integral contributor to our recruitment strategy.

Important Information for Recruitment Agencies

At Activate Learning, we operate a direct recruitment model. All permanent vacancies are managed exclusively by our internal Talent Acquisition Team, and we do not require agency support as part of our standard recruitment process.

We very rarely engage recruitment agencies for permanent appointments. When additional support is required, this will be through agencies who are formally appointed to our Preferred Supplier List (PSL) and only following direct instruction from our Talent Acquisition Team.

CVs submitted directly to hiring managers, partners, leaders, or other employees without prior written agreement from the Talent Acquisition Team will be considered unsolicited and submitted on a no-fee basis. Such submissions do not establish any contractual obligation or authority to act on behalf of Activate Learning.

Vacancies advertised on our website are not open to agency representation or speculative candidate submissions. Agencies must not approach hiring managers or employees regarding live roles.

Agencies wishing to express interest in joining our PSL must complete the register your interest form, the Talent Acquisition Team will contact you upon reviewing our PSL.

We do not accept speculative outreach or candidate introductions outside of this process. 

Purpose of the PSL

The Preferred Supplier List (PSL) supports Activate Learning’s approach to external recruitment, ensuring a controlled, high-quality, and value-driven process.

    • Maintain standards: Ensure consistently high candidate quality, compliance, and service delivery.

    • Clear governance: All agency activity follows defined processes, approved communication channels, and agreed terms.

    • Strategic partnerships: Build long-term, performance-focused relationships with agencies that understand our organisation, culture, and workforce needs.

    • Authorised engagement only: Only agencies formally appointed to the PSL are permitted to support recruitment, unless a specific, formally approved exception is in place.

Volume expectations

Activate Learning has minimal requirement for agency support, and agencies should not anticipate a high volume of vacancies or regular candidate submissions.

We operate a direct recruitment model and only exceptionally engage recruitment agencies for permanent appointments. Where additional support is deemed necessary, this will be limited to agencies formally appointed to our Preferred Supplier List (PSL), and engagement will occur strictly following direct instruction from our Talent Acquisition Team.

Agency involvement is typically reserved for niche, specialist, or particularly hard-to-fill roles, and is not part of our standard recruitment approach.

Recruitment Agencies sending unsolicited CVs

To ensure fairness and consistency:

 

  • We do not accept or process unsolicited CVs from non-PSL agencies.

  • No terms or fees apply to unsolicited submissions.

  • Persistent unsolicited contact may negatively affect consideration for future PSL openings.

This policy protects both candidates and the organisation by ensuring all recruitment activity follows agreed standards.
