CAMOU hosts first convocation ceremony in partnership with Activate Learning

CAMOU Academy of Media Arts recently hosted its first convocation ceremony on March 30 in celebration of student achievement in diploma programmes delivered in partnership with Activate Learning.

In collaboration with City of Oxford College, CAMOU delivers broad-based media and 3D animation diplomas and is Activate Learning’s only partner in south Malaysia.

Francis Lawson, Director of International Partnerships at Activate Learning attended the event and spoke about the high-quality resources and teaching at CAMOU.

On site, CAMOU offer a bespoke studio, which includes a computer lab, library, Dolby cinema, recording studio and green screen studio.

The academy also boasts student accommodation, allowing students from further afield to study.

Graduates from CAMOU have progressed to careers as 3D artists, graphic designers, specialists in architecture modelling, cinematographers and specialists in game art.

The academy boasts an excellent record of securing employment in the industry for its graduates.

In January this year, CAMOU won the Sin Chew Education Award, which celebrates the achievements of schools and their international efforts across Malaysia.
