Activate Learning’s Chief Marketing Officer, Peter Reynolds, will swap his bed for a sleeping bag this October as he takes part in CEO Sleepout Oxford to raise money and awareness for people experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Peter will represent Activate Learning at the event overnight on Thursday 8 October 2026, spending the night outdoors at University Parks in Oxford alongside business leaders and senior executives from across the region.
CEO Sleepout brings people from the business community together to spend a night outdoors while raising funds to support charities working with people experiencing homelessness, poverty and hardship.
The Oxford event is part of a national programme of sleepouts taking place across the UK, designed to encourage business leaders to use their networks and influence to create positive social impact within their communities.
Funds raised through CEO Sleepout support organisations working directly with people experiencing homelessness and poverty. In Oxford, the charity has previously provided significant funding to Oxfordshire Homeless Movement, which brings organisations across the county together to help ensure that nobody has to face homelessness alone.which brings organisations across the county together to help ensure that nobody has to face homelessness alone.
Peter Reynolds, Chief Marketing Officer at Activate Learning, said: “On 8 October, I’ll be representing Activate Learning by taking part in the CEO Sleepout at University Parks, spending a night outside to help raise funds for people facing homelessness and poverty in our city.
“Oxford is an incredible place, but alongside its success and prosperity, there are many people facing real hardship.
“The CEO Sleepout brings together people from local businesses and the wider community to raise both money and awareness, supporting charities working directly with those who need help the most.
“I would be hugely grateful for any sponsorship people can give. Every donation will make a real difference to someone in need locally.”
Pete is a member of Activate Learning’s Executive Leadership Team and leads Marketing, Admissions, Commercial Sales, and Apprenticeship sales and delivery across the organisation.
His participation reflects Activate Learning’s wider commitment to supporting and strengthening the communities it serves, including Oxfordshire, Berkshire and West Surrey.
CEO Sleepout says its events have brought together thousands of executives and supported hundreds of frontline charities across the UK, with millions of pounds raised to help tackle homelessness and poverty.
