Activate Learning colleges have launched freely available information, advice and guidance (IAG) sessions to help young people discover the right career pathway for them.
IAG sessions are aimed at those who are unsure of what to do next after receiving their A-level or GCSE results, and want to discuss their career options.
Prospective students are given the opportunity to speak directly with faculty staff before enrolling onto their chosen programme. Sessions provide a one-on-one discussion with an experienced pathway advisor, during which time young people can discuss career pathways they are interested in, find out options available to them and the steps needed to get there.
All faculties and subject areas are available – from motor vehicle and construction, to business and accounting.
Sessions are available across all Activate Learning colleges, including Banbury and Bicester College, City of Oxford College and Reading College, to prospective further education and apprenticeship students. IAG will run from A-level results day on 16 August until the 27 September 2018.
