Two City of Oxford College catering students made an appearance on the The One Show on Thursday 7 December when they were set a cooking challenge by One Show reporter and chef Ricky Andalcio.
Georgia Hern and Romario Salis took part in a film about the new trend for overhead cooking videos. They were challenged to prepare a meal using only a written recipe while two local members of the public cooked the same dish using an overhead, online video.
The BBC filmed the challenge in the teaching kitchens at City of Oxford College, where students on study programmes and apprenticeships start their pathways into careers in hospitality and catering. Previous students have gone on to work for big name chefs including Gordon Ramsay.
