The Oxford Lifestyle Centre, The Salon Reading, The Salon Banbury, Harmony Hair and Beauty Salon and Salon in the Park will be reopening on Wednesday 2nd December 2020. Our restaurants will remain closed until further notice.

Our campuses offer a range of excellent facilities that are open to members of the public. From hair and beauty salons to restaurants, shops and much more!

Everyone is welcome to visit our facilities and enjoy our delicious food and drinks, beauty and pampering treatments, all delivered by our excellent staff at great value.

Our learning companies operate these services which are staffed by our students under the supervision of a team of experienced professionals. That means you will enjoy first class services at very reasonable prices and help students gain invaluable practical experience.

Banbury College

The Salon

Our Level 3 hairdressing students work in The Salon, Banbury, where they learn to cut, colour and style the Wella way.

We are proud to be working in partnership with Wella, one of the largest, award-winning hairdressing companies in the UK.

Hobby Horse Children’s Centre

The Hobby Horse Children’s Centre is part of the Activate Learning Group and is based at Banbury and Bicester College.

Childcare is provided for up to 62 children a day, between the ages of three months and 10 years.

The Cherwell restaurant

The Cherwell restaurant offers a relaxing venue for lunch or dinner. Dishes are prepared, cooked and served by our hospitality and catering students.

Bracknell and Wokingham College

Harmony Hair and Beauty Salon

You can get high-quality hair and beauty services at Harmony Hair and Beauty, Bracknell.

Our smart, modern salons and treatment rooms are open to the public, offering all the latest treatments, with prices starting from just £2.

The College Nursery

The College Nursery offers places to children from three-months-old in a friendly and caring environment in bright, modern facilities until they enter full-time education.

The college nursery is at the Coopers Hill site, off Crowthorne Road North.

The Oxford Lifestyle Centre is a fantastic £6m centre featuring hair and beauty salons in the heart of Oxford. Our centre, set in a beautiful riverside location, is fully accessible from Oxford city centre and welcomes all.

The Waterside Restaurant

The Waterside Restaurant offers a relaxing venue for lunch or dinner. Dishes are prepared, cooked and served by our hospitality and catering students.

The Salon

Whether you want to change your hairstyle, get a colouring treatment or need a relaxing massage, visit The Salon at Reading College for a great experience at competitive prices.

Reading Studio of Dramatic Art

Reading Studio of Dramatic Art is an employment-focused theatre studio for talented, emerging performance artists in the South East and beyond.

As a partnership between Reading Rep and Reading College, Reading Studio of Dramatic Art offers a unique approach to theatrical training that combines expertise in teaching and learning with the skills and experience of leading performance industry professionals.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen restaurant is run by students as a learning company. Our learning companies are commercial environments where students work and learn as an integral part of their studies. Students are supported by teaching staff with industry experience.

The Kitchen restaurant is located at Reading College on Kings Road.

Guildford College

Salon in the Park

Run by professional stylists and practitioners, Salon in the Park offers a wide range of hairdressing and beauty treatments.

Park Room Restaurant

The Park Room Restaurant offers a relaxing venue for lunch or dinner. Dishes are prepared, cooked and served by our hospitality and catering students.

Merrist Wood College

Dog Day Care

The Merrist Wood Dog Day Care Centre is a secure area with double entry and buzzer gate system for additional security and heated indoor cabin. Your dog will spend their day socialising with friends, running around our field and enjoying fun activities.

Animal Encounters

Merrist Wood was awarded a zoo licence in June 2018, allowing it to share its collection of exotic animals, some of which are of conservation importance, with the wider community. Animal Encounter activities open to the public include Junior Keeper Experiences, Public Tours, Education Tours, Children’s Parties and Animal Experiences.

Dog Grooming Centre

Treat your dog to a pamper session at the Dog Grooming Centre based at Merrist Wood College.

Riding Arena

Merrist Wood’s Equine Arena is one of the top facilities in the South East. Events and competitions are held throughout the year, and the arena and course can be hired by trainers.
