At Activate Learning, we don't just offer courses: we offer you a pathway to your future career.
Our aim is to offer every learner a direct line of sight to employment.
We offer two routes to career pathway success: full-time study programmes and apprenticeships.
Introducing our full-time programmes
With a full-time study programme, you will study on campus, at our industry standard workshops and learning experiences. You will typically spend three days a week on campus, including:
- fifteen hours of teacher-led classes or workshops, for example, English, maths and a coaching tutorial to boost your performance
- around seven hours of nurtured learning every week, where you'll be supported to put your skills into practice in our amazing maker spaces environments and to improve your digital skills and widen your knowledge across other disciplines
- three hours a week of independent learning, including work experience or independent study, as appropriate.
Full-time programmes are available on: A-levels, Business and tourism, Creative arts, Foundation and Supported foundation, Hair and beauty, Hospitality and catering, Sports, Early years, Health and social care, Protective services, Construction, Engineering and motorsport, IT and computing, and Motor vehicle and cycle maintenance.
Programmes are typically available from Entry Level or Level 1 (equivalent to key Stage 3 or GCSEs grades D-F or 3-1) up to university-level programmes.
Some of our programmes are available on a part-time basis. These include: vocational programmes, university-level courses, professional courses and learning for leisure. Part-time programmes are ideal for you if you need to combine work or family commitments with your studies.
We offer a number of university-level programmes, part-time and full-time. From Foundation degree to HNC, HND and BA Honours degree, our flexible programmes are delivered on campus and accredited by one of our partner universities (Oxford Brookes University and the University of Northampton.) Get the best from both worlds with plenty of support, a smaller campus environment and access to university facilities, such as the library, at the partner university campuses.
If you want to gain a qualification to help you progress in the workplace, our professional courses could be what you are looking for. You will find many options available, including: human resources, accounting, health and safety, security and much more.
Learning for leisure
Explore a new hobby or develop an existing course with our learning for leisure courses. With these courses, you do not complete exams, allowing you to progress at a more relaxed pace.
Learning for leisure courses include: art and design, modern foreign languages, hospitality and catering, sports and more.
Discover our apprenticeships
If you are keen to earn while you learn and still gain a qualification, an apprenticeship could be right for you. We deliver apprenticeships for over 1,000 businesses in the UK, helping connect great candidates and exciting careers.
Apprenticeships are available from Intermediate (Level 2) to Advanced (Level 3) and higher apprenticeships (university-level equivalent qualifications.)
