We offer qualifications from Level 2 certificates to university-level (PGCE, equivalent to university-level studies, at Levels 6–7, depending on the modules taken.)

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) with English and maths or Functional Skills English and Maths Level 2
  • Level 3+ in subject specialism
  • DBS check + ID
  • Subject specialist mentor. Trainees for Diplomas in Education and Training and Post-Graduate Certificates in Education need to have a mentor identified upon enrolling on their course. This mentor will serve as the subject specialist and supporter of the trainee in developing the specific strategies related to the course they are teaching, whilst they learn more general teaching practices. If you don't have a mentor, then we can help you to find one.


This is a blended classroom-based course. Locations of sessions will be decided based on the preferred location of candidates with possible sites including: Banbury, Oxford and Reading. It is likely there will be a mixture of sites, so please allow time for travel.
