English and maths qualifications are an essential ingredient for future success. Whatever career pathway you choose.

Whether you choose a full-time programme or an apprenticeships, English is essential for work or studies.

Employers look for a good understanding of English when recruiting and promoting staff. That's why all our programmes have English embedded into it. This means that we make the English used relevant to your studies and the industry you plan to work in. You will have the opportunity to learn in a practical, hands-on way.

  • GCSE English - Develop a coursework portfolio which demonstrates different writing styles and skills, boost your comprehension skills through reading various forms of literature and take part in speaking and listening assessments to chart your progress.
  • English courses for adults - Improve your English skills for everyday life and work with our dedicated courses. These are courses for people for whom English is not their first language. You will have a chance to study for a nationally recognised qualification.
