Guidance for Suitable Lanyard ID Photos
Please follow this guidance when submitting a photo for your Activate Learning lanyard ID. A suitable photo means your card can be issued first time.
Acceptable vs Unacceptable

| Facing the camera with a neutral expression or gentle smile | Looking away, pulling faces or exaggerated expressions |
| Plain, light background (white or pale) | Busy backgrounds, posters, other people or pets |
| Full head and shoulders clearly visible | Cropped, tilted or too far from the camera |
| Clear prescription glasses with no glare | Sunglasses or tinted/reflective lenses |
| Even, natural lighting across the face | Shadows, glare or filters applied |
| Head coverings worn for religious or medical reasons (face visible) | Hats, caps or hoods worn for any other reason |

Please note: if your photo does not meet this guidance, a member of staff will be in touch to ask for a new one before your lanyard can be issued.
