Choose a career pathway in animal management and you will have the opportunity to work directly with animals at our brand new animal management centre in Banbury.
Studying and learning in a hands-on environment, you will work directly with fish, insects, small animals such as rabbits, guinea pigs and ferrets, and reptiles such as snakes and small lizards.
The programmes will equip students with the practical and technical skills needed for rewarding careers in the animal industry. Students will be able to undertake work experience placements at local animal care and management organisations.
You will learn about:
- animal welfare and health
- principles of behaviour
- feeding and care
- basic animal biology
Our state-of-the-art animal management centre will help you develop skills and knowledge in a realistic and professional environment. Opening in September 2019, the new centre will house fantastic facilities and resources for learners.
