Advice and guidance around your loans at Activate Learning

20 April 2020

We hope that you and your loved ones are keeping safe and well at this time.

We wanted to reach out to you in light of the current situation regarding your current student loan with Activate Learning and provide you with some clarity around what you should do.

Please do not cancel your loan with us unless you intend to withdraw from studies or certification. Your loan with us pays for you to complete your studies and certification. If you were to cancel this loan, it will affect our ability to claim any future certification for your studies.

For those of you claiming loans to fund Access to Higher Education programmes it is particularly important you do not cancel your loans with us or via the Student Loan Company.

Not only might this affect your ability to get certification for your studies in the future, it will also affect the Student Loan Company’s ability to write-off any FE loans at the end of your university studies.

What should you do?

The terms of your loan will remain unaffected by this situation.

You are still able to access learning resources and online teaching via our Activate Learning Online or Moodle platforms, so please continue to engage with your studies throughout this period of lockdown.

We hope this email has helped to clarify the situation and that you and your loved ones remain safe and well.

If you have any questions around your loan via Activate Learning, then please contact us through the website or you can find help and support from the Student Loan Company.
