Activate Learning was honoured to be invited to host the UK China English Language Inward Mission organised by the Department for International Trade.
Senior decision makers from the ELT sector in China were invited to hear more about the UK FE sector, skills education in the UK and how Activate Learning has created meaningful synergies between ELT and Skills development through the creation of new courses for the international market. We were also pleased to have the opportunity to share some of our recent successes in China such as gaining the approval of the Chinese MOE for a college collaboration in Chongqing.
Speaking about the DIT Inward Mission Niko Phillips commented 'had it not been for the DIT organising this event, we might not have had the opportunity to meet influential leaders representing some of the largest education providers in China, and to share our commitment to transnational education in China and elsewhere.'
We look forward to continuing these conversations in China in November when Niko Phillips, Group Director International for Activate Learning takes up invitations to visit the delegates’ organisations in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
