Where can I get advice and guidance about finding the best course for me?

When will I hear back after applying for a course?
We aim to acknowledge your application within three working days of receiving it. Your application will then be processed and an interview date will be sent out to the email address provided on your application within a week of this. I've applied for an apprenticeship but I can't find a workplace to complete it in. Can you help?

I’ve had my interview. What’s next?
We will aim to tell you about you the outcome of your interview within one week, via email. If you do not hear back from us within that timescale, please give us a call or send us an enquiry here.

How do I apply for a bursary?
If you need extra financial support while studying with Activate Learning, check out if you’re eligible and apply for a bursary here.

I've changed my mind about the course I applied for and want to do a different one. What should I do?
To apply for another programme, you will need to submit a new application. This can be done via our website or in person at one of our Advice Centres. How do I withdraw my application?
Please send us an enquiry here to withdraw your application from our system. Please include: your name, Student ID number (found on all correspondence from us) and reason for your withdrawal.Please note if you change your mind, you can still reinstate your application at any time.

Where's my college timetable?
Your enrolment letter will include information about where to go on the first day, or if you come in person a member of faculty from your course will be able to provide this information in person. Your final timetable will be decided in the first few weeks of your course once you have enrolled.

Do you accept external candidates for exams?
Unfortunately, we do not offer exams to those who are not studying with us.

I’m feeling really nervous about starting college. Can you help me?
We know coming to college can be a difficult experience for some, which is why we have dedicated staff to work with anyone who may be feeling anxious. We offer 1:1 support, including taster sessions, college tours and personal advice and guidance to ensure you successfully adjust to college life.
