Wellbeing

Our students can access a comprehensive package of support, including counselling and advice on health issues from our dedicated and highly trained staff.

We offer a confidential support service for any students who may be struggling with the effects of:

  • Relationship issues
  • Physical, sexual or emotional abuse
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Work or study problems
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Other issues, including disabilities and eating disorders

Our college nurse provides a confidential health service on some of our campuses, including help with contraception, sexual health issues and pregnancy queries. If you want to quit smoking or start eating more healthily, or if you are suffering from drug or alcohol related problems, we can offer advice and support.

All our services are accessed easily either online or by speaking to one of our staff, all of whom have been trained in child protection and safeguarding and have had a criminal record check (DBS).

We have a dedicated, online student hub that provides our students with a quick and easy way to access services or anonomously provide feedback to the school. We pride ourselves on having open and honest dialogue with those in our care and have made many improvements in response to learners' voices, including improving security on campus and launching a brand new Student Support centre.
