Our industry-specific protective services programmes will prepare you for progression into this exciting, fast moving industry.

This includes employment in the blue light and non-blue light industry, or progression to university-level studies. 

Subjects

  • Protective services - Develop skills for a career in the protective services,attending various settings, taking part in volunteering and leadership training, listening to guest speakers and developing core communication and teamwork skills. Our industry experienced teaching staff will prepare you for the protective services entrance tests.  
  • Policing - We offer a university-level programme to prepare you for entry to the police force, accredited by the University of Northampton. This programme will give you an insight into the legislation and criminal justice system in the UK, preparing you for an exciting career.

We offer protective services qualifications from Level 1 all the way to BA Honours Degree. 

Facilities

You won’t be learning in a classroom, you will be training with industry experienced teachers, participating in volunteering in the community, listening to guest industry speakers and taking part in residential trips and outdoor activities. This will help you develop invaluable skills for a career in the protective services industry.
