Qualifications

With an apprenticeship in logistics, you will work on projects that challenge you and develop the soft skills that employers are looking for – such as teamwork, communication and problem solving. You will earn while you learn in a real job, gaining skills – and knowledge – and getting you ready for a bright career.

Facilities

Apprenticeships take place in the workplace, so that you can learn, earn and put your new skills into practice all at the same time.

Depending on your apprenticeship, you may spend one day a week at one of our campuses, developing core skills such as maths and English. You will have access to student facilities on campus, including our well resourced libraries, canteens and cafes, gyms, hair and beauty salons and Students' Union room. 

Subjects

Warehousing and logistics: Develop knowledge and experience around areas such as: mail and package distribution, warehousing and storage, import and export, driving goods, traffic office and transport departments.

Industry partnerships

We work closely with partners including local employers to help train and develop the next generation of industry professionals. Our logistics apprenticeships have been developed in partnership with Skills for Logistics, the standards-setting body for the sector.
