In 2017, the Guildford College Group achieved an overall pass rate of 98%, with a total of 48 subject areas across the group achieving a 100% pass rate

PCs and Macs

We have over 350 computers around the college for use inside and outside of lessons, as well as four Apple Mac suites dedicated to Media and Music Technology.

Music Technology Studio

Music Technology's state-of-the-art recording studio will allow you to develop and apply theory and practical skills through recording, editing and mixing sessions. Music Technology students also have access to high-quality kit including guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, microphones and speakers, as well as a dedicated Apple Mac suite.

Art, Design and Graphic Studios

We have a number of well-equipped Art, Design and Graphic Studios at the college that are designed to enhance your creative flair and abilities.

As well as our Art, Design and Graphic Studios, we also have a photography studio and dark at the college, giving our students access to various camera, lighting and backdrop equipment.

Science Labs

Our professionally-equipped science labs, dedicated to chemistry, biology and physics, will allow you to learn both the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in the science industry.

Sports Facilities

Our brand new fitness suite and changing facilities are home to a range of industry standard equipment, supporting our students to learn the importance of fitness, coaching and sport. We also have ample outdoor sporting facilities on site, for use by our students inside and outside of their lessons.


Farnham College tries to encourage students to use alternative modes of transport other than cars. We are aiming to reduce the amount of traffic as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle and living environment.

Student train and bus fare cards

Young people studying at Farnham Sixth Form College can apply for a Student Fare Card. These cost £25 and entitle you to a third off of travel on trains and half-price travel on buses if you live in Surrey (excluding London Boroughs). For further information please visit their website.

Cycle racks and motorbike spaces are available at the college. Students travelling to the college by bicycle from local areas can plan their route by visiting the Surrey County Council website.


The college is easy to reach by road and can be reached via several routes, including the A31. There is a student car park on site, which provides free parking. If you park off-site, you must ensure you are parked legally and are not blocking residents' driveways.


Buses run from all over the local area in to Farnham Train Station, which is a 10-minute walk to the college. Visit Surrey County Council website for more information and bus timetables.

Stagecoach Unirider

The Guildford College Group has joined forces with Stagecoach, who are offering subsidised Bus Fare Cards. Cards can be bought on a half-termly, termly or annual basis. See their website for further information.

Travelling by train
