Junior Saturday Art Club is a 5-week, creative Saturday course for 8–12-year olds, running from 10am–noon. The programme combines a mixture of art, design, and craft.

Young people will enjoy a range of fun, inspiring and challenging activities. Our art studios and facilities are second to none and will provide an inspiring and creative environment for you to explore all sorts of creative disciplines. Come and have fun!

*NB: The fee is £65 for a ten-hour course. All materials are included.

What I'll learn

Young people will receive expert tuition, including the opportunity to take part in a wide range of stimulating activities based at our specialist facilities, workshops, and studios. Areas they will learn about can include: photography (darkroom and digital), graphic design, animation, printmaking, textiles, fashion, ceramics, 3D, painting and drawing.


How I'll learn

Each young person will have the opportunity to learn new skills, encouraging experimentation, problem-solving and inspiring imagination! 

Once you have finished this course, you can go on to do National Art and Design Saturday Club for 13–16-year olds.


How I'll be assessed

All 8–12 year olds are very welcome! All abilities will be catered for. Activities are varied each series to accommodate returning students.

Parents are very welcome to come along with their child, without extra costs.


Entry Requirements

All materials and equipment will be given to you, but you will need a parent or guardian's permission.
