Enjoy a free one-hour show delivered by the world-renowned Royal Institution!

On Friday 1 November, Banbury and Bicester College will be hosting two, one-hour science shows. These shows are free and showcase the incredible power of science that will amaze both children and adults!

Show 1: 10:30–11:30

Show 2: 13:30–14:30

The deliciously interactive shows are packed with fiery biology, physics and chemistry demonstrations, revealing the explosive potential of the food we eat!

Explosive Food is a delicious caper through the alimentary canal, covering digestion and nutrition in depth.

Along with core biology content there are links to chemical reactions and energy transfers along the way.

Working scientifically is an integral part of the show, with multiple chances for you to get hands on, learning why food is so essential to life.

Suitable for age ranges 5–18. Children under 14 must be accompanied by a guardian.
