This taster course is designed for adults who are thinking of working in a school setting.

You will learn about the values and practices needed to work in a school environment. 

Upon completion of this course you will have a good understanding of what it takes to be a teacher in modern schools. You'll also be ready to progress onto one of our teacher training courses, such as PGCE or Award in Education and Training.

What I'll learn

The course will provide learners with a general understanding of how to support teaching and learning in a school setting.


How I'll learn

Upon completion of this course, you will be given a certificate and you will have a raised awareness of the skills needed to work in the schools sector. 

You can use this in an applicaiton to a Level 2 Award in Supporting teaching and learning in schools.


How I'll be assessed

There are no practical placements, exams or assessments.


Entry Requirements

 There are no formal entry requriements. All you will need is an interest an interest in working with children.
