You will learn about the values and practices needed to work in a care setting.
Learn about various aspects of working in social care, such as skills to communicate clearly, what opportunities are available to you after completing the course and how this certificate can help you further your goals and allow you to make the kind of positive impact that you want to make.
You will learn in a supportive and enthusiastic environment.
Upon completion of this course, you will be given an introduction certificate in care and you will have a raised awareness of the skills needed to work in the care sector.
You can use this in an applicaiton to a Level 2 Diploma in adult care.
A highlight has been the work placement at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, where I’ve learnt about infection control, radiography and audiology. I gave my classmates an ear test and witnessed a patient hearing examination."
