What I'll learn
Depending on the level you study you will be learning in a classroom environment over one or two evenings a week. You are also expected to practice your learned skills at home or in your place of work.
There are three levels to the AAT Accounting Qualification.
You will spend about a year on each level, so if you start at Level 2, it will take you three years to become fully qualified.
If you have previous experience, you could have certain exemptions, and qualify in two years or less.
How I'll learn
You should spend three hours a week studying outside of class, for each learning and assessment area.
Your study time will need to increase before assessments when you’re revising.
Don’t forget to use all the study and membership support that is also offered by AAT as well as from the course tutors.
Whole class and group work activities will take place but the majority of your learning will be ‘standalone’.
How I'll be assessed
Final assessment is by examination only.
There is no course work to complete but you will be assessed in class periodically to establish understanding and learning.
