Our career pathways show you a typical route through the various stages of learning, what you will learn along the way and the careers these programmes could lead onto.

What I'll learn

You will gain a qualification which has a proven track record of providing the skills that employers recognise.

You will learn about the basic principles that underpin financial and cost accounting, understanding the basic principles of VAT and the preparation of VAT returns, ethical principles and spreadsheet techniques used by accountants.

On successful completion you can progress on to the AAT Accounting Level 4 Professional Diploma.

How I'll learn

The course is taught in modules with an assessment at the end of each one. Tutors use a variety of techniques, so students can be expected to be actively involved during the lessons with discussions, exercises, practical demonstrations, pair work and time constrained tests.

Entry Requirements

Completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or equivalent bookkeeping qualifications at Level 2.
