Spend a relaxed and informative day exploring the value of tripod use in achieving maximum image quality and how a tripod can assist when shooting portraits or group shots.
As well as the benefits of taking control of your in-camera flash and when you can combine the two to utmost effect; using natural or artificial light to combine with built in flash to create arresting images.
What I'll learn
Learn to create stunning effects, such as blurring of water within a landscape or traffic or people within a cityscape.
Use of tripod for low level light photography, enabling you to record the most beautiful quality of light in the early morning, late evening, and even at night.
When to choose flash or natural light, and different ways to combine the two.
Peer review at the end of the session.
How I'll learn
Tutorials and practical sessions on how tripod use can help maximise your image quality; from depth of field (the distance from the nearest to the furthest point of focus) to colour saturation.
Digital SLR camera and compatible tripod essential. You may wish to bring an off camera flash if you would like to use one – but this is completely optional.
Packed lunch (refreshments are available on site for a small cost)
