This course provides a stepping stone for those who wish to develop their confidence to enable them to move up to advanced classes.

This course provides a stepping stone for those who wish to develop their confidence to enable them to move up to advanced classes. This is a mixed-ability class, following on from an Intermediate or Upper-Intermediate class here at the College. 

The tutor will use a range of resources (videos, games, role-plays and handouts) to supplement the course book. 
This course will have a maximum of 12 students unless there are exceptional circumstances.

What I'll learn

Your teacher will provide a range of materials using arrange of materials using a range of sources such as: 

  • Spanish newspapers
  • Dedicated websites, 
  • Original Spanish films, graphic novels etc. 

These may vary depending on the learners’ ability on the course
This course does not lead to a formal qualification, but we are happy to discuss ways to take a formal qualification.

 

How I'll learn

Audio visual. Formal instruction. Group and pair work. Discussions.
 

 

Entry Requirements

6-9 years previous study of the language in an adult environment or similar and knowledge of the future, present, perfect and imperfect tenses. This course may also be suitable for you if you have an O’ Level/GCSE and have improved your skills by visiting Spanish-speaking countries.
