If you have studied basic Spanish before on one of our Beginners' courses or elsewhere, this course will help you to progress and to learn to use the language with greater confidence.

Our career pathways show you a typical route through the various stages of learning, what you will learn along the way and the careers these programmes could lead onto.

What I'll learn

The topics are likely to include: 

  • Shopping for food and clothes
  • Asking and saying how much something is
  • Describing clothes and people
  • Asking talking about opening times 
  • Talk about likes and dislikes
  • Accepting and refusing invitations and giving reasons
  • These may vary depending on the learners’ ability on the course
  • This course does not lead to a formal qualification, but we are happy to discuss ways to take a formal qualification (DELE).

 

How I'll learn

Audio visual. Formal instruction. Group and pair work. Discussions.
 

 

Entry Requirements

50 hours previous study of the language in an adult environment or similar. 
This course is also suitable for those who have studied Spanish at school and wish to recap.
