If you have studied Italian on a course either with us (Lower Intermediate, or Intermediate) or elsewhere then this course will enable you to recap and extend your knowledge of Italian.

If you have studied Italian on a course either with us (Lower Intermediate, or Intermediate) or elsewhere then this course will enable you to recap and extend your knowledge of Italian, through a variety of engaging activities. This is a mixed-ability class. The tutor will use a range of resources (videos, games, role-plays and handouts) to supplement the course book

What I'll learn

The topics are likely to include: 

  • General revision of the main tenses (present; past & future)
  • Recap of daily routine: shopping for food/clothes; eating out, recipes & diet requirements
  • Travelling around; transport systems, describing people, places, items
  • Health problems; symptoms
  • These may vary depending on the learners’ ability on the course.
  • This course does not lead to a formal qualification, but we are happy to discuss ways to take a formal qualification.

Entry Requirements

4-6 years previous study of the language in an adult environment or similar and knowledge of the future, present, perfect and imperfect tenses. This course may also be suitable for you if you have an O’ Level/GCSE and have maintained your skills by visiting Italian speaking countries.
