Are you interested in broadening your knowledge of French for holidays or social occasions?

For those learners who have completed the beginners course or have studied the language for about a year and would like to take the journey to the next level of their language ability in a relaxed environment.

Please note that this course does not run during the half- term/ end-of-term breaks.

What I'll learn

You will develop your language skills and improve your confidence in speaking and understanding of common phrases.


How I'll learn

You will have access to specialised websites and the chance to use the language in real-life situations. You will also get the opportunity to develop your language skills according to your own specific needs.


How I'll be assessed

There are no formal assessments with this course.


Entry Requirements

You should be able to hold a simple conversation and ask and answer simple questions on a variety of everyday topics using basic grammatical forms (past, present and future).

You will have completed 30 hours of formal learning or have a good, basic understanding of the language.

You should be able to follow short simple written instructions and be able to write short sentences on a variety of everyday topics.
