On this intermediate course you gain knowledge of French so you can communicate in everyday situations.

Please note that this course does not run during the half term/end of term breaks.

All courses are sub-divided into Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3, each phase corresponding to one term of the academic year.

The courses are progressive and, while students are welcome to enrol at any of the three starting points, they are advised to contact the college for information on topics already covered in the previous phase(s) before doing so.

What I'll learn

This is a part time course that follows on from our beginners French class.  You will develop your language skills and improve your confidence in speaking and understanding of common phrases.

It is also suitable for anyone with some knowledge of the language who is interested in extending their knowledge of vocabulary and grammar in a relaxed environment.

Please note that this course does not run during the half term/end of term breaks.

How I'll learn

You will have access to specialised websites and the chance to use the language in real life situations. You also get the opportunity to develop your language skills according to your own specific needs.

How I'll be assessed

There are no formal assessments with this course.

Entry Requirements

Some knowledge of the French language is necessary.
