You've shot great footage, but now you need to elevate your film to perfection in post production. Here's how!
The course is led by experienced editors and trainers from Real Time Video a locally based NGO with an international reputation for participatory video production. www.real-time.org.uk
The course will cover digital editing from how to use the editing software, importing, logging and editing, to adding soundtracks and effects. It will also cover workflow techniques: helping to demonstrate how to turn your filmed material into a well-structured final documentary film, short video, or promotional clip.

How I'll learn
The training will use Apple Macs based in the college’s media department, each participant will have sole use of a computer, giving everyone the maximum hands-on experience. We teach primarily on Adobe Premiere Pro using Macs.
Teaching methods include:
- Formal instruction

- Practical demonstration
- Practical experience
Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills according to your own specific needs.

No previous experience required but experience of using Macintosh computers and their software is essential.
All equipment is provided for this course.
If you wish to take home content you will need your own USB memory stick.
The is a one-day workshop with a one-hour lunch break. Please bring your own lunch and refreshments.
