What I'll learn

This introduction to video making covers the whole process of video production, from the initial idea through to a final product. The course is designed for anyone wishing to take their first step into video production.

How I'll learn

The learning is very hands-on and practical. Learners will make a narrative based digital video production during the course which they will be able to take home and share.

You will watch and learn from video 'shorts' how to make your own five minute 'short' and in the process you will learn: how television works, how to use a video camera, how to record audio, how to create a short narrative and shot list, how to transfer that narrative to the screen and how to edit.

How I'll be assessed

There is no formal assessment.
