This course is for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.

It will develop your personal independence and life skills.

It also provides you with opportunities to develop:

  • problem solving
  • decision making
  • practical, independent living skills

This four-day programme gives learners the confidence and skills they need to speak up and therefore define and achieve their goals. We bring 21 years of passion and self-advocacy experience, supporting people to express their needs and desires.

With our Activate Learning partners Optalis and Talkback, we provide meaningful and rewarding work experience.

There is also job coaching in the workplace.  

We empower students to make informed choices about their employment options.

The aim of the course provides a smooth transition when leaving college into long term, meaningful voluntary work.

Through expert job coaching and self-advocacy, we adapt this programme to you based on your individual support needs, travel ability, independence and personal aspirations.


Entry Requirements

There are no fomal entry requirements for this course.

All you will need is ambition, motivation and a strong wish to be independent in the future. 

You will need to come into college for an interview first. This is just a chat so we can learn more about you and make sure this is the right course and level for you.
