CIPD Human Resource Practice Level 3 Foundation Certificate

This programme is accredited by the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development).

The objective of the course is to provide you with a foundation in human resources management through a variety of learning experiences and obtain a widely recognised qualification within the HR sector. There will be a blend of theory, practice and skills assessment in the six modules.

What I'll learn

The course provides an ideal entry route for a career in HR management. You can then pursue additional CIPD qualifications at intermediate or advanced level from institutions offering these higher level courses.

 

How I'll learn

Modules include the following:

• Developing yourself as an effective HR practitioner

• Understanding organisations and the role of human resources

• Recording, analysing and using HR information

• Resourcing talent

• Supporting good practice in managing employment relations • supporting good practice in performance and reward management

 

How I'll be assessed

Due to the HR content and assessment of this programme and the professional nature of the course being intended for those practicing Human Resources in their work role the following criteria will be used for enrolment onto this programme:

• You should be able to demonstrate that you work within a Human Resource role or a role with responsibility for HR functions and activities, or are aspiring a career in HR

• You should be able to demonstrate a level of previous education to at least GCSE (Level 2) and equivalent. • you should be able to demonstrate that you have the capacity and time to attend programme and undertake required out of college homework hours

• You will be required to join the CIPD as a student member

 

Entry Requirements

You will be required to demonstrate that you can study at a minimum of Level 3 (A-level equivalent). You will also be required to be within an active career or work role in the HR/Personnel/Administration business sector or show a keen interest in entering this profession.

It is an essential requirement for this course that you are a paid member of the CIPD. Without professional membership you will not be able to participate in this course or obtain your qualification.  

You must bring your CIPD ID card on the first day of your studies so that your tutors can make a record of your numbers for registration

On completion of the course you will have achieved the knowledge element required of Associate membership of CIPD.  The next step if you wish to do so is the intermediate (Level 5) or advanced (Level 7) qualifications
