CIPD Int Cert in Human Resource Practice L5

Print Page

This intermediate level certificate is aimed at aspiring or existing HR Managers and/or those who have studied the CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Personnel or HR Practice.

It provides a great bridge between the Foundation Level 3 and Advanced Level 7 CIPD course.

Our career pathways show you a typical route through the various stages of learning, what you will learn along the way and the careers these programmes could lead onto.

What I'll learn

You will learn how to:

  • Develop a good understanding of how HR fits into an organisation’s strategic objectives and how the use of HR data can improve business performance.
  • Gain experience of social and collaborative learning
  • Apply your learning at work straight away

How I'll be assessed

To apply for a place on the Access to HE course, there are no requirements in terms of prior academic qualifications. However, applicants are required to sit an initial maths and English assessment to determine if their level of literacy and numeracy is sufficiently high to cope with a Level 3 course. The outcome of this might be that an applicant is advised to complete maths and/ or English at GCSE before being considered for the Access course. If an applicant scores well on the initial test, it is possible to do maths and/ or English alongside the Access diploma, but it should be noted here that this is a substantial workload.

Entry Requirements

The course is for existing HR Managers and/or those who have studied the CIPD Level 3 Certificate in Personnel or HR Practice.
