Print Page

Upholster your own stool to take home! We are delighted to be able to re-run this successful, 10 week Introduction to Traditional Upholstery course.

This introduction to upholstery is for absolute beginners and will teach traditional craft techniques. You will learn how to build a hand-stitched and stuffed stool. A frame will be supplied by City of Oxford College. You will use age old methods of construction and classic materials such as coir and animal hair will be used to upholster the stool.

If you catch the bug and find that you would like to learn more then you will be able to book onto the longer and more comprehensive creative, traditional upholstery course, which will run 1 day a week, over the course of a year.
