This is a fun, fitness- and confidence-building class for those over 60 who want to dance.

One of the best things about dancing is that while you're having fun moving to music and meeting new people, you're getting all the health benefits of a good workout.

Regular dancing is great for losing weight, maintaining strong bones, improving posture and muscle strength, increasing balance and co-ordination, and beating stress.

Please note: this course will not run during school holidays.

What I'll learn

Every term, you will learn a new piece of choreography to a variety of music.

You will gain all the fantastic health benefits of dance including:

  • co-ordination
  • self-confidence
  • better posture
  • peace of mind found through expressing yourself physically

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. All you'll need is the enthusiasm to have fun while learning!

Please wear comfortable clothes such as leggings/loose trousers and trainers.

Don’t forget to bring a bottle of water!
