Train to be shop floor staff in the cycle retail sector.

Learn basic mechanical skills combined with customer service and retail skills will enable you to work in cycle retail environments. This course provides the background knowledge needed to succeed in a retail environment.

What I'll learn

This course packages two courses together: Cytech Level One and  Certificate in Retail Knowledge.
Not only do you learn about the business of retail, customer service and the retail selling process, you also learn the practical skills that prepare you for working in a cycle shop. 

You will learn the standards that are expected to be complied to when assembling bicycles, correct use of tools and workshop practices, the terminology used to describe a cycle and its parts, the use of lubricants when assembling bicycles, the importance of Torque Wrench use and how to use them, basic Pre Delivery Inspection set up and adjustments, M-check troubleshooting of a bicycle and the importance of good teamwork, communication and customer care 



Entry Requirements

Other than a desire to work in cycle retail, there are no formal entry qualifications for this programme.
