This course is an excellent opportunity to work in a fully-equipped print studio with support and advice from a highly-experienced print tutor.

The course will cover experimental screen printing onto fabrics, and will cover a range of traditional and non-traditional printing methods and techniques including many of the following:

  • monoprint
  • using overlays
  • stencils and masks
  • overprinting
  • layering

What I'll learn

You will gain an experience of the processes involved and the knowledge and confidence to plan and explore textile print experimentation.

By the end of the course you will have an understanding and experience of using various screenprinting techniques.


How I'll learn

You will learn about different approaches within screenprinting onto fabrics

You will also have the opportunity to explore and experiment with them to find ways of incorporating a range of themes into your designs.

You do not need to have previous experience.

Some students might enjoy the challenge of inventing a new technique!


Entry Requirements

Screenprinting can be messy and although aprons are provided it may be sensible to wear old clothes.

High heels and sandals are not allowed; please bring something that covers the whole foot.  

This course runs on five consecutive Thursdays from 6:30pm–9pm.
