Learn some new ideas and refresh your home decor designing and creating a cushion!

You will experiment with mark-making techniques and explore colour mixing, creating layered patterns during the course. 

Dye sublimation is a form of heat transfer printmaking that creates one off unique artistic prints.

What I'll learn

You will learn:

  • How to layer up multiple dyes to create unique tones and shades
  • How to use monochrome and colour
  • How to experiment with ghost printing
  • How to apply heat reactive dyes to fabric.

 

How I'll learn

You will design and create a cushion, washable and ready to use. 

Materials for this course will be provided. Please bring an apron and small artist brushes if you prefer to work in detail.

 

Entry Requirements

The course is suitable for beginners or those who have no previous art or print making skills.

It is ideal for those who enjoy mark-making and reflective group discussions.

You should be able to follow simple verbal instruction as part of your session.
