Expand your knowledge and skills with Linocut Printmaking 2!

Create dynamic blocks and exciting prints!

Practical instruction in both traditional and inventive linocut techniques, including the reduction method developed by Picasso.

What I'll learn

This course will introduce you to intermediate linocut printmaking techniques:

  • how to create multi-plate and reduction prints

You will also be free to experiment with your work and learn how to mix harmonious colours.

Furthermore, you will get the opportunity to develop your skills according to your own specific needs.

 

Entry Requirements

No experience is necessary.

This is a fully-guided course and you will be supported by our very experienced tutor throughout.  

All lino cutters will be supplied and health and safety briefings will be given, as cutting tools are sharp. 

If you want to produce your linocuts at home you can bring your own set of cutters, or advice will be given by the tutor.

Printmaking is messy and although aprons are provided it may be sensible to wear old clothes.

High heels and sandals are not allowed. Please bring something low and that covers the whole foot.
