Print Page

This exciting and innovative course provides an introduction to printmaking on your kitchen table, allowing you to make prints in your own home without the use of a press.

Find out more about the possibilities of working in printmaking with minimal expenditure! You will be taught a variety of interesting creative techniques and will be encouraged to develop your own way of working with them.

What I'll learn

You will learn about different techniques for Printmaking without the use of a press. You will have the opportunity to explore and experiment with them to find ways of incorporating them into your own personal work and projects. You will be able to explore aspects of  colour and black and white, and also mixed media printmaking.

How I'll learn

You will develop confidence to use these techniques at home to plan and create your own print work. By the end of the course you will have a good understanding of how to use several techniques which may be practiced at home.

How I'll be assessed

There are no formal assessments for this course.

Basic materials are included, (however you may wish to purchase specialist papers so please bring change in case you want to try this)

Printmaking can be messy and although aprons are provided it may be sensible to wear old clothes. High heels and sandals are not allowed, please bring something low and that covers the whole foot.  Please note that this course does not run during the half term/end of term breaks.
