Junior Art Holiday Week

Each art club day is different and can cover a range of fun art activities from sculpture, design, painting, printing, clay and many more activities!

During Autumn half term and the Easter Holidays, City of Oxford College has amazing art classes on offer!

This week is especially developed for 8–11 year olds. All materials are provided. Come and have fun!

All 8–11 year olds are very welcome! All abilities will be catered for. 

Parents are very welcome to come along with their child, without extra costs. 

What I'll learn

You will receive expert tuition, including the opportunity to take part in a wide range of stimulating activities based at our specialist facilities, workshops, and studios. Areas you will learn about can include:

  • photography (darkroom and digital)
  • graphic design
  • printmaking
  • textiles
  • fashion
  • ceramics
  • 3D
  • painting and drawing

 

How I'll learn

Each young person will have the opportunity to learn new skills, encouraging experimentation, problem-solving and inspiring imagination! 
Research has already proven that artistic activities aren’t only fun, they’re also effective at connecting the two hemispheres of the brain!
 

 

Entry Requirements

All materials and equipment will be provided, but you will need parental consent.

All abilities will be catered for. 

Parents are very welcome to come along with their child, without extra costs.

Course places are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. We would encourage you to enrol on your chosen course as soon as possible. If you prefer to enrol in person please visit us at one of our college Advice Centres or enrol over the phone via 0800 612 6008.
