Spend the day learning the basic techniques of making a silver ring to take home at the end of the workshop.
You will learn how to cut, texture, form and polish silver to create a unique, handmade silver ring.
If you enjoy the course and want to take your skills to the next level, following this course, you could progress to our ten-week jewellery making course.

How I'll learn
This workshop is designed for all abilities, from complete beginners to those who have experience making jewellery of some kind.
Teaching methods include:
- formal instruction
- individual tuition
- practical demonstration
- practical experience
The tutor will work one-to-one with you, as well as in groups, to help you with designing and perfecting your ring-making skills and techniques.
There is a one-hour lunch break scheduled, so please bring a packed lunch with you.
You will need to come with an idea of what you would like to make.
You will need to bring:
- a sketchbook and something to write with
- an apron/wear old clothes that you don't mind getting messy
You must wear flat shoes as this is a safety requirement.
