This 5 week course is a creative exploration of techniques used to make  illustrations. Each week you will be given demonstrations and instruction in the use and application of different techniques and materials which you can then test and practice in your own style or illustration project. The course will cover colour and black and white techniques in wet and dry media, and some printmaking techniques that can be applied at home or in your own studio. Every 5 week course covers a different range of techniques from the previous course to enable progression.

What I'll learn

You will learn how to use different materials, tools and techniques and be introduced to a range of different ways of working with them. Through experimenting with hand-made processes (not digital) you will explore the materials and processes in relation to your own illustrative style.
